The functions, responsibilities, terminology, roles, and other specifics of the marketing department in an organization like market research, marketing plans, and marketing procedures. Marketing Research is the process of collecting data and analyzing it to provide information and support for market researches. This can be done through surveys, interviews, focus groups, consumer surveys, and so on. Market Research may be done through surveys online, face-to-face, or via any combination thereof. They are the main driver behind the success of any product or service, and thus it is of vital importance for a good company to understand the consumers and their purchasing preferences.
The departments that implement market policies will also include some of the following: Purchasing Managers, Quality Review Body, Reference Data Collection and Analysis Team, Quality Control Branch, and Employment Service Branch. Purchasing Managers is in charge of the policies and purchasing decisions. Quality Review Body analyzes the buying patterns and selects the best polices in accordance with the standards and guidelines. Reference Data Collection deals with the collection of relevant data and it is used by Quality Review Body to approve and reject any proposals. Quality Control Branch will ensure that the polices comply with the rules and regulations set by Mercado de Trabajadores (Spanish Mortgage Bank).
The Employment Service Branch ensures that the laws, rules and regulations are being adhered to at all work places and the workers are being well paid and being treated decently. The NIA is the office that investigates crimes and enforces the punishments. The Mercado de Trabajadores has detailed rules and regulations for all employment. These are specified in the National Occupational Registration Act (NIA).
The NIA regulates all work that is carried out by individuals or groups under any type of agreements or collective agreements. For instance, in a Private Employment Firm, it is the NIA that enforce the contractual laws, employment terms and conditions, and all other worker’s wage matters. The NIA enforces all the laws of the private industry. The Mercado de Trabajadores (MCT) is the office that supervises the activities of Private Employment Facilitators. The MCT enacts the rules and regulations of the National Minimum Wage and approves all the proposals put forward by the employers and workers’ representatives.
The Mercado del Sol (General Delivery Office) is the General Delivery Office of the Government of Spain. The General Delivery Office, or GDO, is accountable for ensuring that the laws and other public policies are being abided by. This department also enacts and makes public policy related to services such as postal services, electricity, gas, water, communications, telecommunication, advertising, official measures, and natural disasters. The GDO supervises and regulates all the activities related to postal services. They also make sure that the correct price is charged for postal articles and ensure that all packages are delivered in time and in proper condition.
Other than the GDT, the Mercado del Sol and the MCT are responsible for ensuring compliance with article 81 of the Spanish Constitution, which states that “no public or private institution may be established or continue in operation, wholly or partially, on the basis of unfair discrimination”. To put it simply, according to article 81 of the constitution, no undertaking or activity can be organized, either directly or indirectly, by any person or association, whether a company or trade union, which operates in a discriminatory manner. This includes, inter alia, practices such as employer discrimination, employer takeover, price fixing, harassment, dismissal, union busting, strikes, industrial disputes, harassment on the grounds of race, age, sex, culture, colour, sexual orientation, or religion, ownership and management control, pollution, encroachment on natural resources, incitement to racial or religious hatred, monopolization, and subsidies and grants given to monopolists. All these practices and many more constitute what we know as discrimination by the practice of vendetta.
